TRIP TO UGY AND TERKHIIN TSAGAAN LAKES (15 days)

	ITINERARY
1 day	Arrival to Ulaanbaatar, transfer in hotel. Visit the Gandan Monastery, the biggest Monastery in Mongolia, built over 300 years ago,  ascent to the Zaisan hill, from where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city and the surrounding hills, there you will find a huge statue of Buddha. Visit the Bogd Khan museum: Winter Palace of the last emperor-lama.
2 day	Visit of the Museum of History, after the lunch, departure with car to the direction of Darkhan city, located in the north of Ulaanbaatar. Arrive to the Monastery of Amarbayasgalant, one of the most beautiful and important Monasteries of Mongolia.
3 day	Visit to the monastery built in 1737 and dedicated to Zanabazar, first emperor-lama, scientist and great sculptor, whose  was can here in 1779. Excursion around the monastery, until the mountain where are 8 stupas. Visit the cemetery of Huns – “khirgisuur”. Passing Erdenet – the town of the copper mines, departure to  Bulgan.
4 day	Leaving and coming to the lake Ugy, well-known for a lot of migrant birds where they stay during the summer season and for l' plenty of fish.
5 day	Trekking around the lake Ugy. Departure to the hot springs of Tsenkher, passing through  Khushuu Tsaidam and you will see the monuments of the king of Turkish  Bilig Khan, built in 732 a.C.. Visit to a Mongolian family. Then transfer to the hot springs of Tsenkher.
6 day	Visit to the hot springs of Tsenkher, with the water of temperature which reach 60-80 degrees, best to relax. Possible to have a bath in the hot springs and try massage and  Mongolian traditional cure. Excursion around the hot springs.
7 day	Departure to the lake Terkhiin Tsagaan, neighboring with craters and inactive volcanoes, the youngest of those is Khorgo. Entrance to National Park of Terkhiin Tsagaan.
8 day	Visit to the inactive volcano Khorgo, in a few minutes you can reach the summit of the crater. In return, you will pass the Shar Nokhoi and Zaluuchuud caves.
9 day	Departure to Kharkhorin (Karakorum), ancient capital of the Empire of Genghis Khan. From this ancient capital only  2 turtle stones were kept, which were limits of the capital city in 4 sides. During the trip you will see the canyon of river Chuluut, formed in the period of active volcanoes, sacred tree with 100 branches, the Taikhar rock. Arrival to Kharkhorin.
10 day	Visit to Kharkhorin. Visit to the Monastery of Erdene Zuu built on the ruins of the ancient capital  and its archeological cities. Visit to the Monastery of Shankh, one of oldest Buddhist  Monasteries in Mongolia. Departure to Khujirt, village on the way to the waterfall of river Orkhon.
11 day	Entrance to the National Park of Ulaan Tsutgalan and departure to the waterfall of river Orkhon. The road takes you to the canyon of river Orkhon and pass through the springs of Uurtiin Tokhoi. The road is tough. Arrival and  excursion to the waterfall of Ulaan Tsutgalan. Departure to the monastery of  Tuvkhun which is on the top of mountain. Excursion till the monastery.
12 day	Departure to the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai, arrival and  excursion on the dunes.
13 day	Departure to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive. Folk show of Mongolian traditional music and dance that refreshes your mind and emotion of the trip: the horizon without limit, galloping  horses free like the wind, the fresh perfume of herbs of the steppe ... Diner in Gachuurt - in Hotel Mongolia the miniature of Karakorum
14 day	Visit to the   Museum-Monastery of Choijin Lama, one of rare monasteries left undestroyed , thank to the protector Choijin Lama, where are kept original masks of Tsam dance and e magnificent  sculpture of Zanabazar. Visit to the Fine Art Museum, which is rich with chef d'oeuvres of  Zanabazar. Shopping. Free time and tour around the city.
15 day	Transfer to the airport and departure.
